The Inheritance of the Geek
What shall the Geek inherit?? If one is stumped by that one, I declare, one hasn't really been keeping awake. Look around, inhabitant of the Blue planet,---- look to see the prodigious third of the wondrous solar family sinking helplessly into the hands of the Geek. Not that this god-like status of His is a modern development. One gains familiarity with the meddlesome habits of remarkable godfathers of geekiness, the likes of the the DaVincis, the Newtons, the Edisons, the Einsteins the Hawkings, and their tiresome doings shoved down one’s unsuspecting digestive system rather early-on in life. No, the world has never quite been sublimely free from the grubby, tinkering, poking and prodding hands of its curious human products perpetually contriving to thrust everything from a thermometer to a nuclear reactor down its side.
